Hey guys,

For a while now, I've kind of been toying with the idea of getting rid of my DeviantArt page. Don't get me wrong, nothing has happened to bring this about. As a matter of fact, that's just it; nothing has happened with this profile in a really long time. I find myself using this website less and less (the only reason I DO use it is when I'm keeping up with friend's works). I'm not looking to use this website for feedback, and while all of you have been very kind to me, this site isn't exactly notorious for great artistic critique.

At the same time, I'm still very hesitant to let go of what I've built up here. But it honestly isn't doing anything for me anymore, at all. I don't like putting my cosplay up here (I have ACP for that), and I don't enjoy putting up my school work/conceptual photography either. I suppose if I were to use this site I would use it for my experimental photography and photography/art projects I do "just for fun", but I would have used it for that already, and I haven't touched this site in way too long, so obviously nothing much is going to change.

So with that said, I'm not going away yet (for now I just might go through my gallery and delete some of the ones I don't want up anymore), but it's definitely a thought that's been on my mind.

What's up, everyone!

I don't know if I will be updating my gallery any time soon, since I haven't done too much personal photography recently (and a lot of my school work is unfinished as of yet) but I wanted to make an update anyway.

I have been to a few cons since I last posted, and I do have photos, but I'll only get them up with time. This website isn't a high priority of mine anymore, sadly.

This summer has been one of my busiest yet, and I'm planning on heading back to school sometime next Monday or Tuesday. So soon! Hopefully I'll be swept up in productive (and stressful) photography work for my final year at SU, and have something to proudly show for my efforts.

It's been forever since I've used DeviantArt!

I'm still here, I've just been greatly neglecting this site all the time.

Haha well, it's the start of a new summer, and I've successfully made it through my Junior year at Syracuse. My Junior Photography project went extremely well, but it's a work in progress to be perfected my entire senior year and presented as my photo thesis. Lots of work! But I'm looking forward to it.

For now, since I can't find a job right away, I'm having a huge anime/manga/collectibles/COSTUMES spring cleaning sale! It's over at my LiveJournal and open to the public, but if you don't have an LJ account and are interested in an item, don't hesitate to comment in here as well and we can work something out. I hope everyone takes a look, there might be something you really want!

So. I'm thinking I should probably update this thing. A new semester at Syracuse has started, and I feel I'm more swamped than ever! But... I feel like I should probably update some of my school projects here, as well as just the photography I consider doing for "leisure". Though I have a LOT of back-logged photographs, and I probably won't get around to all of them (like I always do).
Wish me luck, tho? We'll see what I can start to get done!

Plus, I just got a 50mm f/1.4 for my Nikon D80, and while I've played around with it at home during Christmas and New Years, I haven't had the chance to use it in a formal setting yet. I'm excited to seriously try it out. <3

Also, I'll be at Katsucon in February! Hope to see a lot of you there.

Ummm... so yes, I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season. I probably won't update this for another few months, but I'll see you then! Haha.

EDIT: What are the chances I would come back and update my DeviantART a day before the redesign is released? Haha.

Looks like I'm back up and running, at least for the time being.
Considering Photography is my major in college, I should be more interested, but I've been highly unmotivated to deal with it lately (to my frustration).

Anyway, I've returned from the 'Land of the Moon/Rising Sun/Whatever you fancy' and have been back for about a month, re-adjusting to the States again (which has proven to be a LOT simpler than I expected, but then again I've always been an easy adjuster).

My next step, after a million and a half new Japanese photo uploads, should be a new Deviant ID. That thing is like three years old and I've gotten a few haircuts since then. >_>

My next convention stop is Otakon! But I'll admit I haven't pulled any extravagant costumes out recently, and I've been shying away from posting them on this particular website. Check me out on ACParadise for the full set: [link]
